01What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that visited websites send to the user's browser, where they are stored and re-transmitted to the site on the next visit. Cookies can serve different purposes: ensuring the technical functioning of the site, collecting aggregated usage statistics or profiling users for marketing purposes.

Beyond cookies there are other similar technologies (web beacons, tracking pixels, unique identifiers, local storage) that can be used for the same purposes. In this notice the term «cookie» is used in a broad sense and includes these technologies.

02Cookies used on this site

cellmets.it is a static website that does not use profiling cookies, does not integrate traffic analysis tools (such as Google Analytics) and does not embed social network or advertising platform pixels.

Note · Loading fonts from Google Fonts involves a technical request to Google's CDN, which may record the user's IP address for security and service delivery purposes. Google does not install profiling cookies through this request. For full information please refer to Google's privacy policy.

03Technical cookies

Technical cookies are cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site or for the provision of a service expressly requested by the user. They do not require prior consent of the user, pursuant to art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority on cookies of 10 June 2021.

On cellmets.it, technical cookies are limited to those that may be generated by the hosting server to manage the browsing session. No first-party or third-party analytics cookies are used.

04Profiling and marketing cookies

The site does not use profiling cookies, marketing cookies, behavioural advertising, remarketing or social media tracking. There are no Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn, Google Ads or other advertising network pixels.

Should tools using profiling cookies be introduced in the future, this notice will be updated and the user will be invited to provide consent through a dedicated banner compliant with the Authority's guidelines.

05How to manage cookies

Users can at any time manage cookie preferences through their browser settings, choosing to accept, reject or delete installed cookies. Below are links to the instructions for the most popular browsers:

Disabling technical cookies may compromise the correct functioning of some sections of the site.

06Data transfer outside the EU

Loading fonts from Google Fonts involves a technical communication with servers of Google LLC, a US entity. Google has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of data protection pursuant to art. 45 of the GDPR.

No other transfers of personal data outside the European Union take place.

07Cookie Policy updates

This notice may be subject to changes, in particular in the case of new technological tools being adopted or changes in the regulatory framework. Users are invited to consult this page periodically for updates.
